Have you ever had a problem or situation just weigh on you?
Have you ever thought that you had the strength to carry, but found out that you could not?
Have you ever found your self pressed up against a wall, emotions spent with no options left?
I am going to guess that your answer is yes.
Did you know we can prolong our stress and anxiety by holding on to our cares instead of taking them to God? The answer is: Yes
We can get relief from our problem or situation by taking them to God in prayer. And at the end of that conversation there is PEACE.
In the Bible, we are told to pray in the morning and at night, to pray constantly, to pray in troubles, to pray when our enemies come against us, when we are afraid. We are also told to pray for those in authority over us – which can be hard to do when we perceive they are the source of our stress and discontent.
Psalm 55:22, we are told to, “Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken” and in 1 Peter 5:7, again, we are told to, ” Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.”
So if you are going through something – big or small. Take it to God in prayer. Have your conversation from God and then listen. Your problems may still surround you, but in the midst of being in God’s presence He will give you PEACE.
